Marvin E. Miller Sr. (May 28, 1927 – October 4, 1999)[1] is a former Republican member of the Pennsylvania House of Representatives.[2][3] His son, Marvin E. Miller Jr., was also a state representative.

Marvin E. Miller Sr., who was remembered today as a state legislator and journalist who worked to improve the lives of his neighbors, died Monday at Moravian Manor in Lititz after a long illness. He was 72. During a 10-year career in the state House of Representatives, Miller was a prime sponsor of the state's Sunshine Law, requiring public officials to hold open meetings. He also supported legislation to compensate crime victims, and later served as chairman of a state.
